Thailand fascinates through a great variety of beautiful islands. Koh Samui, Koh Phangan and Koh Phi Phi are the most famous islands. Apart from these, there are other islands that make the choice as a favorite spot anything but easy. Explore this unique variety! But beware: anyone who has discovered the paradise Thailand will never want to leave.
The Thai culture is unique. You will always and everywhere with a big smile. Warm hospitality, delicious food, historic temples. These are just three essential elements of Thai culture. If you travel in Thailand you get to know and appreciate true hospitality. A temple visit is an absolute "must-see" for every Thailand traveler.
The Full Moon Party is world famous and speaks for itself. You will definitely not forget this night. But also every other beach party, on Koh Phi Phi or Koh Tao, is a true experience. First snorkeling in turquoise blue water, then a drink under palm trees at the magical white sand beaches. Freshly beaten coconuts provide refreshment or refresh your cocktail. All this in a breathtaking jungle landscape. In short: a party culture to fall in love with.
Have you ever eaten fried scorpion? In Thailand you have the possibility to do so. But do not worry: the broadness of dishes is incredibly large: from delicious Thai curry to freshly caught fish. Everyone gets their money's worth. Cooking with spices is an important factor in Thai cuisine and so far unrecognized tastes can be discovered. Especially the many small street kitchen stands are interesting: freshly grilled food can be bought for small amount of money and various food can be tested - almost like at a street food festival.
Everything will be pre-arranged, so you can relax & let the tour leaders take you on the trip of your lifetime!

Day 2 - Bangkok
The next day a city tour begins with a boat trip through Bangkok’s busy rivers and canals. Day 4 - Khao Sok
You jump on the longtail boat to the floating raft houses hidden deep in the rainforest of the Khao Sok National Park. See amazing animals, breathtaking scenery & learn about the history of the area. The clear water is warm all year round. Enjoy a swim, kayak on the lake or just chill on deck. This afternoon you head out for a jungle safari. Cruise around the lake & go monkey spotting in the jungle. No fences, no gatekeepers. Just you and the wilderness! That evening you will enjoy a tasty dinner with fish caught for us fresh on the lake!
Day 5 - Jungle
Wake up in your bamboo raft house to the sound of monkeys in the treetops. After breakfast, take another dip before you get back on the longtail boat to the next stop, Khao Sok Jungle Village. On the way the group stops to feed baby monkeys. Watch out for them, they’re not shy! Chill out at Jungle Village, where you’ll have the option to go river tubing (depending on the season). That evening you will go out to a nice Thai Reggae Bar for dinner.
Day 6 - Koh Phi Phi
Today you make your way to Krabi, where you board the ferry to Koh Phi Phi, home of ‘The Beach’, for two nights of tropical island fun! Watch beach fireshows & explore the awesome nightlife of Koh Phi Phi.
Day 7 - Koh Phi Phi
Maya Bay: Follow Leo’s footstepsThe next day, sleep in or go for a swim before we take a boat tour of the Phi Phi Islands, to explore Maya Bay ‘The Beach’ and Monkey Bay. It’s your adventure! Extend your trip!
You’ve now seen the highlights of southern Thailand, but obviously there are so many other amazing places! Koh Tao and Koh Samui are most popular & only a short ferry ride away. Ultimate Thailand is perfect for people travelling alone! You’re surrounded by other like-minded travelers for the duration of the trip, you’ll be mates for life with your group by the end! Members of the group even tend to stick together after the tour as they continue their travels through SE Asia!
Yes, and the process is very easy! Citizens of 41 different nationalities, including Australia, NZ, USA, and most of Europe, can enter Thailand without a pre-arranged visa. This ‘visa exemption’ allows you to stay 30 days when entering Thailand by air, and 15 days when crossing into Thailand by land. Without proof of an onward ticket and sufficient funds for your expected stay any visitor can be denied entry, but in practice this is a formality that is rarely checked.
The amount of money you should bring will depend upon the total length of your holiday and your spending habits. It’s very easy to get by in Thailand for as little as $20 per day. This will cover your food, basic accommodation and having fun. However, try and budget for at least $50 per day – it’s a once in a lifetime trip, so make the most of it.
More than 25 million tourists are visiting Thailand annually. Incidents of any kind are very rarely. The Foreign Office of Germany sees no specific safety hazard. For more information, please refer to the website of the Foreign Office or check the travel advices of the Foreign Office of your country.
After booking you’ll receive confirmation and be contacted by the reservations team, who you can email with your questions at any time. Then all you have to do is arrange travel insurance and your flight to Bangkok – we’ll take care of the rest! Two weeks before you’re start date Ultimate will send out “Bangkok Welcome Pack” with heaps more info for you!
Your Thailand Tour Guides will do their best to keep you safe and healthy in Thailand. However, one dodgy mosquito bite or a bad case of the runs could ruin your holiday (and your pulling-potential!), so it pays to take a few sensible precautions. The following is a rough guide for vaccinations in Thailand, so we suggest seeing a GP with expertise in travel medicine who can review your individual health issues. Don’t forget to ask for numbing cream if you’re worried about pain from the injection. • You are strongly recommended to have Hepatitis A vaccine (Hep-A sucks big-time!) • You may also need Typhoid vaccination (Good for nasty stomach bugs) • Rabies pre-exposure vaccination may be an option, but not essential • Malaria isn’t common the areas we visit, but stock-up on bug-spray in Bangkok as there are other diseases such as Dengue that are more common. • Ideally you should organise all this about 4-6 weeks before departure, but it is never too late.
Your Thailand tour ends in Koh Phangan, home of the legendary Full Moon Party! Many tour dates coincide with the Full Moon Party and if it DOES line-up then your group will definitely be going. There is also the Half-Moon Party in the middle of the jungle which is a great time as well and if that lines up then we tend to go to that one too! If the tour does not line-up with any “official” party, no need to worry! Ultimate always organises Ultimate parties for you on Koh Phangan regardless!
The tour begins in Bangkok so you would look to arrive at either of the two International Airports, Don Mueng or BKK. BKK is the new one and is a little closer to the city but arriving at either one is fine. Flights are generally cheaper if you were to get a return flight from Bangkok, you would just have to make your way back to Bangkok from Koh Phangan once the tour is over!
After the tour your tourguide can help you get back to Bangkok or plan your onward travels around SE Asia. There are a number of ways to get back to Bangkok and you can even add onward travel options to your booking if you’d like to have everything pre-arranged
